3 Truths About The Real Estate Shift, Sellers Need To Know

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Seller,

The Real Estate Market has shifted and you need to be aware of this shift. Do not listen to the propaganda that the media is distributing, but do listen to your local Real Estate expert. Real Estate is a local market not a global one!

1. In New Bern NC, It is not 2005 and homes are not flying off of the shelf but they are still selling.

2. If you do not have to sell or are not motivated to sell, don’t.

3. The homes that are selling are the most beautiful ones and the ones that are priced right.

Private School In New Bern NC Gives Back Today

Ranked by this parent that is tired of the public school system, The Epiphany is one of the best private schools in New Bern NC.

Today was a perfect example of what this school is all about, Giving back to your community. Students at this school belong to advisory groups to help them with any issue that may come along.

These groups that include upper school or high school students and teachers were sent on a task to go help in their community.

This morning they all left the school together and went to places like the YMCA to spend time with younger kids, Mercy Clinic to fix food for the needy and planting bushes and flowers at an elderly home.

This is the type of school that we need in New Bern and throughout the world.

Before Buying a Home in New Bern, Educate Yourself on Mortgages

I had a call today from a first time home buyer looking to purchase his first home. He unfortunately made the mistake of going with the first company he came to. Avoid this pitfall and you will save yourself a great deal of hassle and money.

1. If you are paired with a Real Estate Agent referred to you by a bank, make sure they are acting in your best interest? If they are associated with a referral company, then they must maintain their allegiance with that company.

2. Get a good faith estimate from your mortgage company and do not rely on verbal quotes. If it is not in writing then it can not be guaranteed.

3. If you do not look further than the first mortgage company you come to, do not expect to get the best deal. Go to 3 recommended companies and get good faith estimates to compare them side by side.

New Bern is Too Hot For Outside Pets

With the temperatures being in the upper 90’s, outside is no place for any-one’s pets.

Bring your pets inside when it heats up outside or heat exhaustion could kill them!

Consult your local Veterinarian for signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion.

Is There New Bern Real Estate For $200,000 to $250,000?

Yes there is a large quantity of homes in this price range but why?

1. Builders keep building in this range because it is affordable to a larger percentage of people that need a larger home but have now over built.

2. Resale homes have been over priced and are sitting on the market.

3. People have to sell their homes in other places first before buying one here and are unable to do so.

4. Homes that were under $200,000 are now over this mark because of inflated lot prices that developers have been charging.
